1. Introduction

InceptionSol ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Tiny Tales mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.

By using Tiny Tales, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you are a parent or guardian, please read this carefully before allowing your child to use the App.

2. Children's Privacy - COPPA Compliance

Tiny Tales is designed for children. We fully comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Specifically:

•       We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

•       Reading and listening to stories requires no account and no personal data whatsoever.

•       Account registration (for saving progress, liking, and rating stories) is optional. For children under 13, a parent or guardian must provide consent before any personal data is collected.

•       We do not serve interest-based, behaviorally targeted, or personalized advertisements to any user.

•       We do not sell personal information of children.

If we discover we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it promptly. Contact: apps@inceptionsol.com.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Anonymous Users (No Account)

If you use the App without an account, we collect only:

•       Device or session identifiers (e.g., anonymous Firebase installation ID) used solely to maintain your session. These are not linked to your identity.

3.2 Registered Users (Optional Account)

If you choose to create an account, we additionally collect:

•       Display name (optional) - to personalise your in-app experience.

•       Email address (optional) - for account management and password recovery.

An account is never required to access core content (reading or narrating stories).

3.3 Usage Data

We may collect anonymised, aggregated usage data (e.g., most-read stories) to improve the App. This data cannot identify individual users.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information only for:

•       App functionality - delivering stories, saving reading progress, managing your account.

•       Account management - login, account recovery, and optional account deletion.

•       Service improvement - using aggregated, anonymous data to understand usage patterns.

We do not use your information for advertising profiling, interest-based targeting, or any other purpose.

5. Advertising

Version 1 of Tiny Tales does not include any advertisements.

Future versions may introduce advertising. Before any ads go live, we will:

•       Update this Privacy Policy and notify users in advance.

•       Serve only family-safe, contextual ads — no interest-based, behaviorally targeted, or personalized advertising.

•       Use only ad networks compliant with COPPA and Google Play Families Policy (e.g., AdMob with Family-safe settings).

•       Never use ads that collect personal data from children under 13 for targeting purposes.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only:

•       With service providers (e.g., Firebase by Google) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality, solely to operate the App.

•       When required by law, court order, or to protect user safety.

•       In a business transfer (merger, acquisition) - users will be notified before data is transferred.

7. Data Security

We protect your information using industry-standard measures:

•       All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS.

•       Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

No system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at apps@inceptionsol.com.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the App's services or as required by law.

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time:

•       In-App: Account Settings -> Delete Account.

•       By email: Send a deletion request to apps@inceptionsol.com.

We will delete your personal data within 30 days of a verified request.

9. Parental Rights (COPPA)

If your child under 13 has created an account, you have the right to:

•       Review the personal information we have collected about your child.

•       Request correction of inaccurate information.

•       Request deletion of your child's personal information.

•       Withdraw consent for future data collection.

10. Third-Party Services

The App uses Firebase (Google LLC) for anonymous session management and, for registered users, authentication and data storage. Firebase's practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

11. International Users

Tiny Tales is operated by InceptionSol. If you access the App from outside Pakistan, your data may be processed in servers located in other countries. By using the App, you consent to such transfer in accordance with this policy.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will update the Effective Date above. For material changes, we will notify users via in-app notice or email. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
